The
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
Directive has become UK law. Redundant electronic
items, i.e. laptops, lcds, sat-navs, mp3 players,
IT printers, monitors, etc, can no longer
be sent to landfill sites but must be collected
for recycling. This kind of waste emits lead and
other toxins, which contaminate soil and water,
resulting in a detrimental impact on wildlife.
There are also implications for human life.
Electronic
Masters is able to forward your unwanted electronic
items to registered waste carriers that can legally
dispose of all your redundant electronics free
of charge.
So
if you have any small electronic items lying around
that are broken or just a bit past their prime?
Whether
it's old mobile phones, laptops, lcds, sat-navs
or mp3 players in a drawer or in a cupboard cluttering
up your home, we understand that sometimes it's
hard to part with things that seem too valuable
to throw away.
The
good news is they don't have to go to waste, because
you can call us to recycle them free of charge
and we can also offer you cash for items that
may still hold some value!
We
welcome your enquiries, to clarify any WEEE related
issues you may have.
